It's been almost a week in Barcelona and I'm showered with the beauty of Barca's architecture, art and the people. Every street I walked pass seemed to be like an art piece hanging right before my very eye and perhaps the people I've met in school makes my time passes very pleasantly. I've been bumming around the city, setting my eye at Zara and yes it is very cheap in Barca and on thursday, I went to Museo Picasso (Musuem of Picasso) which basically blew me away. I mean art was never my forte and honestly the best thing I could draw is probably a pig but really, Picasso's art is like ascending into a whole new level. By looking at every pieces I can tell that there's a story behind. Beauty is like a unspoken common language. We, from different countries, stood there astounded by the art pieces before us. It was a good experience for me to actually visit a musuem, not that I'm a big fan of, but I was really feeling something for some of the paintings out of many of those I could much less understand. Subsequently, I also went to the Parliament of Cataluyna, which I was half heartedly touring around because it was being introduced in pure Spanish. However, the castle-like place was beautiful, every corner of the room was worth a second look. Next week, I'm finally going to Sagrada Familia by Antonio Guadi that I've been dying to see all this while! I'm such a lucky girl :)
Europe indeed is a city of love. The buildings, the people and even the air makes me feel romantic. Maybe there's how 'Love's in the air' came by. It sucks that lulu has to come later because its hard to walk down the streets of the city of love when my hand is empty. 9 more days to go. <3
