Hello Adelaide

At last, I finally got my internet connection. I realize that I'm so spoilt with unlimited amount of internet to excess in Singapore but unfortunately, Aus do not work the same way. This is like the most painful thing ever. In other words, internet just cost a bomb here. Anyway, that's the only complaint I've got. Other than that, this is like a wonderful place for me. Honestly, I didn't get to explore Adelaide like a tourist, instead, I'm a perfect housewife-to-be. I know where the cheap groceries, furniture and foods are. And finally, my house is like a house, a comfortable, cosy resting place. Living away from home is different, hard but fun. You get to customize your own house like the way you want, *on tight budget*, which apparently it's a easy job for me, cause I'm good at buying cheap but good stuff. ^ ^

The horror begins, the first day i arrive, my apartment is nothing close to what it is like now. However, I have to admit that the apartment is pretty ok, not like the kind you would freak out, but it has this pungent weird woody smell which is quite unbearable. We have to revamp the whole place and stock in our necessities.

Luckily, I've met like the nicest people ever in Adelaide. They drove us to get our furniture and house stuff which is impossible to make it without a car. I really wanna thank them so much cause a girl like me, without any driving license :( , unfamiliar to any route will not be able to complete my house all that fast. Speaking of which, we've got like weekly supply of fresh bread, were sponsored with cutleries and plenty of free meals to the Chinese. Thanks so much x 10000

The weather here is very extreme. I kinda like the craziness of it. Since its summer, in the morning, it is so hot that it can get up to 38 degrees which is like freaking hot but the amazing part is you won't sweat at all, cause it's dry and sometimes when the cold wind comes once in every time, but when night falls it can drop to 23 degrees, or even lower. So a sweater in my bag is a must. I cannot imagine how can i survive during winter. Oh ya, one thing about this place, there are so MANY stars in the night. I swear the sky is so magnificent. I never ever seen a sky filled with so many big stars.

I miss my family terribly. And can't wait to see them on web cam. My friends too. Thanks for those who came to send me off. Love you guys. In fact, I was reluctant to tell them my flight schedule but due to their threatens, I eventually did. So if the rest see this, i'm not being biased, I WAS THREATENED . Hahaha. Still, thanks to everyone.

One of the place i liked most in my apartment. My balcony!! I always sit at my balcony and talk to my family over the phone. And, i can see sunset from my balcony. Muhahaha!!
I'm a Jumpshot master!!
I think life is so amazing. I always dream of being able to sip coffee at a nice cafe at the beach looking at the sunset. And now, here i am.
Oh, we went to this place with a pond full of ducks, ducklings and swan. They are so cute. Though, they are really cute, i reckon that they are a kinda birds so i'm still very scared of them.
The pancake shop. Oh my god, like the best pancake i ever ate. It's in Port Adelaide. Their pancakes are gluten free which i suppose is non-fattening.
The German Feast!!
Egg Benedict!!

I'm really good here. Everything is great. Thanks for everybody's concern. I think my life has just started and i'm looking forward to it. Bye people. I will blog regularly.
