AWWW... SHOOTING STAR

I SAW A SHOOTING STAR YESTERDAY.

This is no joke man.

It's like a orangey streak of light dashing across the night sky.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A SHOOTING STAR IN MY LIFE BEFORE.

Oh my god..... I'm soooooooooooo fortunate.

All thanks to the bday girl. Oh, shall talk more about her bday in my next entry.

Okay, back to shooting star.

I was totally screaming like at the top of my voice when i saw it.

As told, the usual proccedure, i immediately made a wish.

HOWEVER, my brain went blank and i seem to be unable to generate a wish out of it. The only thing that came up my mind was hoping that mum and dad would stay healthy.

Whether or not my wish comes true, I'm really please for being able to see a shooting star.

I believe that many people might not seen any shooting star EVEN before their death.

So, I wanna emphasize that, I'm SOOOOOOOO EXTREMELY LUCKY!!!!

And anyway, out of curosity, i searched the word shooting star through google.

And i realised,

SHOOTING STAR HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH A STAR.

I know if people who knew about this would be like, :
" C'mon, i knew this hundred years ago. YOU MOUNTAIN TORTISE"

But, wa lao, i made an effort to actually check and bank in new information to my knowledge.
Isn't that like very recommendable???haha. So please applause.~~~

So, i shall continue my ranting facts of shooting star cause it's too interesting!!
(People who are not intrested can jolly well skip this.:P haha)

Shooting stars are caused by tiny bits of dust and rock called meteoroids falling into the Earth's atmosphere and burning up.

The short-lived trail of light the burning meteriod produces is called a meteor.

If any part of the meteoroid survives burning up and actually hits the Earth, that remaining bit is then called a meteroid.

AND, AND, AND!!!!!!

There are specifically different names given to metor showers in different period of time.!!!

Isn't that like so FASCINATING??????

Quadrantids---->January 1-6

April Lyrids---->April 19-24

Eta Aquarid--->May 1-8

Delta Aquarids-->July 15- August 15

Perseids--->July 25 - August 18

Orionids--->October 16-27

Taurids--->October 20-November 30

Leonids-->November 15-20

Geminids---->December 7-15

I might even wanna name my baby's name after the shooting stars if only, the name of them sounds more humanly and less scientifically.

So, I'm basically seeing a QUADRANTIDS yesterday night.

Wow, pretty interesting right??? Okay, maybe not to minority.

IN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION,

One of the best meteor showers, the Perseids, happens in August. "PEAK TIME" is when you are likely to see the largest number of meteors per hour.
It occurs in the middle of August .

Oh my god,
can you imagine how spectacular it is to have shooting stars above you repetitively?!?!?

Yup, so people, some times, if you are free to look up to the dark sky, you might some how be lucky enough(like me:P) to be able to capture the scene of meteor showers.

Oh God, i'm getting real excited.
